Test small, lateral view ovate, tapering distal end, wall calcareous, finely perforate, surface smooth, chamber ends with pseudospines; chambers inflated, rapidly increasing in size, triserially arranged; periphery rounded, sutures distinct, oblique and depressed; aperture terminal, subcircular, loop-like opening, bordered by a thick rim.
