Ripe females measure around 15.3 cm (6.0 in) SL, and have yolked eggs ranging in size from 3.5 to 4.5 mm (0.14 to 0.18 in), while unripe females measure 13.6 cm (5.4 in) and have un-yolked eggs 0.5–1.5 mm (0.02–0.06 in). Females attain a maximum of 17.5 cm (6.9 in) TL.
