Commelina fasciculata
Comellina fasciculata is an herbaceous tropical plant native to Peru and belonging to the family Commelinaceae. It was described by Ruiz and Pavon in 1798. It is particularly interesting because of its very high chromosome number (2n= 180), one of the highest numbers among the Monocots.
