Range & habitat
This plant is endemic to the Limpopo province of South Africa. This mountainous species prefers northern slopes at elevations of 1,100–1,600 m (3,600–5,200 ft). It is known from the Blouberg, the Soutpansberg, the Strydpoortberg, and the northern parts of the Drakensberg.
